Illinois ASPIRE Parent Resources

An important objective of Illinois ASPIRE is to increase the involvement of parents in the educational decision making process. Within each of the data collection/demonstration sites, parents are key members of problem solving teams and are involved in implementation of interventions.

Parent Workshops on RtI

The Illinois Parent Training and Information Centers (PTICs) are partnering with Illinois ASPIRE to provide workshops for parents on response to intervention (RtI). Each PTIC will hold three workshops in June 2011 and another three in August 2011. Each workshop will be in a different geographic location, and two will be presented in Spanish.
