- Illinois ASPIRE: Funded by a five-year (2005-2010) State Personnel Development Grant under Part D of IDEA 2004, Illinois ASPIRE (Alliance for School-based Problem-solving and Intervention Resources in Education) will establish and implement a coordinated, regionalized system of personnel development that will increase the capacity of school systems to provide early intervening services, aligned with the general education curriculum, to at-risk students and students with disabilities.

- Illinois ASPIRE Partnerships: Partnerships are a key component of Illinois ASPIRE. As described below, school districts, special education joint agreements, Regional Offices of Education, institutes of higher education and parents all play an important role.
- Project CHOICES: Project CHOICES is a 'least restrictive environment' initiative funded by the Illinois State Board of Education. The purpose of CHOICES is to increase the capacities of school districts and educational personnel to educate and provide supports and services to children and youth with disabilities of all ages.

- Intervention Central: Jim Wright's website is filled with usable materials for those in education. This site has downloadable student materials, CBM measurements, behavior suggestions and much more. It is worth the time to look at!
- Consortium on Reading Excellence: Contains the activities of the Consortium on Reading Excellence, which include materials recommended and help CORE provides to school systems to improve reading.

- University of Oregon-Reading: This is an excellent website reviewing the 5 Big Areas of reading along with instruction, curricula, and assessment information in the context of the 5 Big Areas. It also reviews a 3-tier schoolwide reading model.
